A company based in Hawthorne is recalling 34,373 pounds of organic ground beef products because they may be contaminated with E. coli bacteria.

First Class Foods Inc. says company sampling yielded a positive result for E. coli.
The affected packages were produced on December 7 and 16. They were shipped to stores in California, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Wisconsin and Washington State.
The packages have the establishment number "EST. 18895."
