IMPERIAL BEACH -- A Mexican man wanted for a 2005 rape in Orange County was arrested Wednesday after trying to cross the border into the United States illegally.

30-year-old Ismael Calixto Ortiz and another man were found hiding in some bushes on Imperial beach early Monday.
Border Patrol agents struggled with Ortiz, who tried to grab an agent's holstered handgun.
Officials determined Ortiz was wanted on $1 million bail for a rape in Santa Ana and took him into custody.
