Layla Rosette Trawick was ordered to be sent to Patton State Hospital in San Bernardino on Wednesday after doctors agreed that she was incompetent, according to Shiara Davila-Morales of the district attorney's office.

The Northern California woman pleaded not guilty to four counts of attempted murder and five counts of assault with a deadly weapon back in the May 3rd rampage.

Police said she took a butcher’s knife and chef’s knife to the Target, where she roamed the aisles talking about her bipolar disorder and randomly stabbing people, including a woman holding a baby.

Four people were wounded, one critically.

Her mother says Tranwick suffers from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia and that she has been trying to get her daughter help.
