Singer Faith Evans Arrested for DUI in L.A.

Evans, 37, was stopped at a DUI checkpoint at Washington and Lincoln Boulevards near Marina del Rey. She was arrested at 10:40 pm on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The Grammy Award-winning singer's car was impounded and she was released Sunday morning.

Evans is the widow of rapper Christopher Wallace, also known as Notorious B.I.G. She won a Grammy in 1998 for the song, "I'll Be Missing You."
