Los Angeles Arts Month Begins

The Tuesday event at the REDCAT theater included leaders of local museums and an L.A. Opera soprano.

L.A. Arts Month, which will run through the end of January, encourages Angelenos to patronize the city’s museums, galleries, theaters and other cultural resources. The city-created event, which debuted last year year, offers promotional ticket giveaways and other incentives to bring attention to local arts attractions.
