"The wildfires caused massive evacuations and destroyed more than 60 residences. By contributing to the Red Cross, we are reaching out to help our area neighbors, friends, families and customers who were affected by the fires," said John Sotoodeh, Wells Fargo Los Angeles Metro Community Bank regional president.
In addition to supporting wildfire victims, the donation will support all of the life-saving programs and services offered by the chapter, including health and safety training, water safety classes, services to members of Armed Forces and preparing for a catastrophic disaster.
"Wells Fargo has been a wonderful corporate benefactor, and we are hoping this donation will inspire others in the business community to give generously," said Paul Schulz, CEO, American Red Cross of Greater Los Angeles.
