LA homeowner gets eviction reprieve after arrest

A homeowner arrested during a protest over her foreclosed home in suburban Los Angeles has gotten a reprieve from eviction.

Rose Gudiel says mortgage giant Fannie Mae proposed a new loan modification for her La Puente home on Thursday and canceled her eviction.

In a statement, Fannie Mae confirmed its offer to put Gudiel in a new loan modification program after offering her several solutions that she declined. Gudiel is 22 months behind on payments.
