Google, Fox News to host Republican debate

Internet giant Google is teaming up with Rupert Murdoch's Fox News to host a debate among the Republican candidates for US president and giving the public the opportunity to ask questions.

The Fox News/Google Debate will be held in Orlando, Florida, on September 22 and will be hosted by Fox News anchor Bret Baier, Google and News Corp.-owned Fox News said Thursday.

The debate will be broadcast live on Fox News and live-streamed on Google-owned YouTube.

Questions for the Republicans vying for the party's 2012 presidential nomination can be submitted by video or text at youtube.com/foxnewsYouTube.

Users can vote on the submitted questions and those receiving the most votes will be asked at the debate.
