|
While funny candidates such as Donald Tramp eating their hat on that Obama was able to show in public his birth certificate proving he born in USA, Obama has managed to deliver in the same week certificate that guarantees the continuation of his tenure in the White House much more: a death certificate. Of Osama bin Laden. While you reading all the PR about this operation, we decided to provide few pictures and facts from behind the scenes.

First strands on bin Laden gathered in CIA hidden prison outside USA
CIA interrogators in secret overseas prisons developed the first strands of information that ultimately led to the killing of Osama bin Laden.
Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, provided the nom de guerre of one of bin Laden's most trusted aides. The CIA got similar information from Mohammed's successor, Abu Faraj al-Libi. Both were subjected to harsh interrogation tactics inside CIA prisons in Poland and Romania.
The news is sure to reignite debate over whether the now-closed interrogation and detention program was successful. Former president George W. Bush authorized the CIA to use the harshest interrogation tactics in U.S. history. President Barack Obama closed the prison system. But he also is the one who lead to find and kill Bin Laden.
What happend behind the scence?
President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden, along with members of the national security team, receive an update on the mission against Osama bin Laden in the Situation Room of the White House, May 1, 2011. Please note: a classified document seen in this photograph has been obscured.

The first report about the secrete operation was in... twitter:
The Twitter feed of @ReallyVirtual aka Sohaib Athar, an IT consultant living in Abbottabad, Lahore, Pakistan In the small hours he Tweeted "Go away helicopter - before I take out my giant swatter :-/"
A little later: "A huge window shaking bang here in Abbottabad Cantt. I hope its not the start of something nasty :-S"
After several more Tweets, this: "RT @ISuckBigTime: Osama Bin Laden killed in Abbottabad, Pakistan.: ISI has confirmed it << Uh oh, there goes the neighborhood :-/"
And then: "Uh oh, now I'm the guy who liveblogged the Osama raid without knowing it."
Beforehand he had a few hundred followers. Tonight's it's nearly 50,000, and my bet is that by tomorrow it will be 500,000. A remarkable example of history unfolding on Twitter.
Was is expected?
Sure. The operation worked exactly as showed 3 months ago in Southpark:
