Man Plucks Out His Uncle’s Eyes With A Spoon |

PRICHARD, Alabama - Prichard police are investigating a bizarre and gruesome crime. They arrested a man on assault charges after they say he confessed to plucking out his uncle's eyeballs with a spoon.

Police got a 911 call about 6:30 Monday night from relatives of 79 year old Bonnie Pogue. When officers got to the house at 317 Bronner Street, Timayo Knight told them what he had done. Police found a bloody spoon on the kitchen table and Pogue's eye balls in the garbage can.
Knight was arrested and charged with assault. Pogue survived the attack. Prichard Police Chief Jimmy Gardener tells news 5 Pogue is in the ICU at Mobile Infirmary, listed in serious condition.
